Edvie Marie Castro joined the firm in October 2013 as an associate in the Eminent Domain, Labor and Employment, and Business and Commercial Law practice areas. She was previously employed as law clerk to the Honorable Donald J. Volkert, Jr., A.J.S.C., at the Passaic County Courthouse. Ms. Castro is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Ms. Castro received her Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2012. She represented and negotiated plea bargains for defendants at the Center for Social Justice, Juvenile Justice Clinic, Public Defender Unit at the Essex County Family Court in 2011. Ms. Castro provided refugee and immigration assistance for the Catholic Charities of the Archiocese of Newark through the Seton Hall University School of Law Pro Bono Program in 2009 and 2010.  

Ms. Castro was previously employed as an Adjunct Professor of English at Seton Hall University in 2007 and 2009. She received her Master of English degree, cum laude, from Seton Hall in 2008 and her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in 2007.  She taught English, Journalism, and Mock Trial at The Reverend Joseph H. Hennen Daytop Preparatory School in 2008 and 2009.
