Employer Alert: Paid Sick Leave Is the Law in New Jersey by Lawrence Z. Kotler (April 2018)
On May 2, 2018, Governor Phil Murphy signed the New Jersey Earned Sick and Safe Days Act into law, requiring all New Jersey employers to provide paid sick leave to their employees. New Jersey becomes the tenth state to adopt such legislation. Download the article.

Employer Alert: New Jersey Enacts Workplace Protection for Breastfeeding Women by Lawrence Z. Kotler (January 2018)
The New Jersey Law Against Discrimination has been amended to protect women in the workplace who are breastfeeding or expressing milk. On January 8, 2018, Governor Christie signed Senate Bill S2709 into law, making it unlawful for employers to discriminate against women who are breastfeeding or expressing milk in the workplace.
