A Hudson County jury awarded $18.6 million to the owner of 3.4 waterfront acres taken by the Jersey City Redevelopment Authority for a high-rise project. The authority offered $1.25 million, based on the property’s use as an industrial site and raised the offer to $3.8 million after the Court ruled that the property could be zoned for high-rise residential use.
